RTP provides county-wide transportation to residents of Cumberland County, and visitors to the region.
We have friendly staff ready to help you plan your trip, and well-trained drivers to ensure your safety and comfort. RTP is a shared-ride service that requires riders to book trips in advance. Whatever your transportation needs are, RTP will do its best to help you get where you need to go.

RTP’s purpose is to provide transportation for the disabled, elderly and low-income individuals and people with special needs throughout Cumberland County, Maine, which includes rides to essential medical services such as, kidney dialysis, cardiac care, day surgery, cancer therapy, chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
RTP’s dedicated drivers provide transportation on buses and vans. The agency provides additional transportation with volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles and are reimbursed by a mileage rate.
Since RTP is designated as a Regional Transportation Corporation supported with Federal and State transit funds, the agency also provides public transportation based on availability of vehicles and funding.
